It worked for me!! I’m 48 and fit with no health issues. Then all a sudden I started to notice these different symptons – flashes, headaches, anxiety, joint pain, fatigue and hair loss, but not all at the same time. My symptoms came on gradually, but began to get much worse. My OBGYN said I was perimenopausal. Ok, so now what? He didn’t give me any solutions. So about 6 months went on, as the symptons got worse. It has worked for me and not to say it will for everyone, but I plan to take if for about 6 months and then take a week off and see how I feel. I will definitely have some macafem on backup if symptoms reappear. Listen to your body ladies and do what you can for yourself. Doctors are great but they can’t treat all your symptons. I’m 52 and in the middle of menopause. I started taking Macafem because the supplement I’ve been taking for hormone balance simply stopped working and I did not want to resort to HRT.
But, I was wiped out (exhausted in ways that I don´t ever remember feeling before), my weight was going up and down by 4 to 6 pounds without any provocation, my breasts were almost as sore as if I were pregnant and I was having mild middle of the night anxiety attacks that were baseless. OK GIRLS I am 51 started going threw menop. at age 30!! I had not tried anything until Dec. 2013. I’m quite a cynical person and when I read the sort of thing I am about to write I always feel a bit suspicious. However, I’ve been taking Macafem for just over three weeks and it has made me feel so much better. Prior to this I would feel a bit disoriented and muddled sometimes, couldn’t sleep very well and found I was feeling generally rather low.
